BEGINNER CLASS

What you will be learning:
1: Flat Pattern making- The study of garment construction in two dimensional form which will include drafting basics, garment construction and the fundamentals of fit.

2: Cutting
How to lay out your fabric for cutting
How to add a seam allowance
How to cut fabric with scissors or a rotary cutter
3: Sewing
How to sew in a zipper/dress zipper How to sew a waistband
How to sew skirts
How to sew hems
How to sew neck line and armhole facings
Class Requirements:
Know how to use a home sewing machine (threading and basic operations)
ADVANCE CLASS
Class Fees: $495
What you will be learning: You will be building on the skills learned in the Beginner Class and
learning how to:
Draw patterns and sew different designs for:
Skirts
Tops
Pants
Dresses
Suits
Jumpsuits Swimsuits Curtains
Draping and more.
You will also be learning how to use fabric manipulation, make pleats, when and how to make darts, tucks and style lines.
Or:
You can choose what you would like to learn about such as alterations, wedding dress construction, curtain making or any sewing project you have in mind.
